General Info: Oregon is the home to Big Y Fly Co. We love it here! The fishing is great, and the fishing culture is top-notch. There are year-round quality fisheries across the state. You can catch steelhead 365 days a year within a mile of Big Y Fly Co headquarters. Trout fishing is as good as it gets on the Deschutes River, and there are countless mountain streams and lakes in the area for some variety. If steelhead and trout are not on the menu, the smallmouth fishery is as fine as you will find anywhere, and we get a huge shad run as well as all 5 Pacific salmon. Beyond that, there are plenty of saltwater options for anglers looking for some variety.
