Christmas Island is the ultimate destination. It is and should be on most anglers' bucket lists. One of the most remote places in the world, there is not much to do there besides fish.

And fishing is excellent. Bonefish are pervasive. Big schools are everywhere, and larger cruising singles/doubles give you enough shots at big ones to keep you drooling for more.

Beyond bonefish, Giant Trevally exist in good numbers. These bullies of the flats are fast and strong. If you are up for the ultimate fly rod challenge, then GT fishing should be on your list.
