How long will it take to get my order?
Most orders are packed the next business day, although same day shipping is frequent. Standard shipping takes about 3-4 business days for US customers, 4-6 for international orders barring any customs delays. Expeditited shipping is available.
What if not all my flies are in stock?
At these prices, we move out a lot of flies. We sometimes run out of patterns and or sizes or color variations. We will ship all the items of your order that are in stock within 48 hours. If your items will be back in stock within 30 days, we will e-mail you with what part of your order is out of stock, and give you the choice to wait for the balance of your order to be shipped or to receive a refund immediately. If you were shorted flies not maked out of stock and choose to wait for your flies, we will add two extra flies per pattern shorted.
At our discretion we may immediately refund the purchase price of out of stock items. This is done if the order was shorted very little product, or if it is going to be a long delay, or if the items were on sale or clearance.

How do you sell flies for so cheap?
The short answer is Big Y Fly Co Inc sells so many, and our entire company strives to be a model of efficiency. From the way we purchase hooks directly from Mustad and Daiichi to the way our advertising is mostly done through word of mouth from our customers. Every aspect of our company is focused on keeping costs down without sacrificing quality. We tie our own flies, and sell many millions of dozens to wholesalers, who mark them up before selling them to fly retailers who mark them up again. By purchasing through Big Y Fly Co Inc. you are bypassing this chain of distribution thereby by passing the additional mark ups. We also do not have the expense of a brick and mortar store, which eliminates the biggest overhead of retail.

What is your refund policy?
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, just return it for a 100% refund. We realize purchasing over the internet involves trust, and we thank you for trusting us enough to place an order, and will do anything in our power to retain the trust you place in us.

Yes you can. Please fax to (541) 395-2714. Printing out the completed shopping cart is an easy way to do this.
Do you have a catalog?
At this time we do not have a catalog. We do have an order guide available, complete with a product list and order blank. To receive one, please e-mail us your address with 'order guide request' in the subject.
What forms of payment do you take
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, as well as Pay Pal payments online. We also accept e checks online. We also accept the same credit cards over the phone or via fax, email, snail mail. We also accept checks and Money orders through the mail.
What if I want to send flies to someone as a gift?
Place the person to receive the items in the shipping address, and the your name in the billing address. We won't send the recipient the invoice.
How much is shipping?
For US orders standard USPS First Class Mail shipping is free for orders over $35, $3.50 for orders under $35. Priority shipping is $6.50, and Express is $23.50. Canada shipping is $5.50, and Priority is $9.50. International shipping is $8.00 up to $80 and 10% of the total order above $80 and International Priority is $16.00 up to $80 and 20% of the total order above $80. **Please note to avoid delay make sure the shipping address has Postal Service.**
Do you have minimums?
Absolutely no minimum quantities required. Order as many or as few of each fly that you like.
How will my order be packed?
Your flies will be packed according to type into labelled containers. Hackled dry flies are in crush proof containers, and the rest are in reusuable zip locs. No more than 24 flies per container and usually quite less, depending on the order. We make it as easy as possible to unpack your orders and re-stock your fly boxes. The order is shipped in either a bubble mailer or box. fly Rods are shipped in crush proof tubes.
