I spotted this beauty in the calm water just above the riffles feeding the pool I had been fishing. I had to cast almost directly upstream over the fish and knew I may only get one or two shots before the sight of line or a splashy landing spooked it. I got lucky on my second cast when it gobbled the prince nymph I was fishing as a dropper (both flies were Big Y)! Thanks to Big Y for helping make a cold, wet morning something spectacular!
