Robert Taylor measures his rainbow trout in pounds, not inches. This isn't even the biggest from the last set of pictures he sent us, but we can't make everyone too jealous. Here is what he has to say:

-these fish were caught in a small trophy lake in the Cariboo region of B.C. Most of the fish in this lake are pennask strain rainbows and are mostly female triploids which grow to fantastic sizes very quickly, particularly if the lake is eutrophic. I use 6 weight fast rods and a 7lb tippet, dry and fluorocarbon. My preference is Rio as it has the smallest diameter and best knot strength. The lakes are catch and release/barbless and many are involuntarily released as they run hard and fast through weeds.Clearly, the best day you can have with your pants on. Bob Taylor
