Back when I was poor I used to purchase my flies one at a time. They cost fifty cents at a discount drug store. I could afford one fly. I bought a size 12 Adams. I bought that fly over and over again. The Adams worked. It convinced hundreds if not thousands of trout that it was the real thing and made them bite.I'm filthy rich now and I still buy the Adams. I buy a lot of Adams flies and I will until they stop working.
