Whiting American rooster saddles are one of the best values in fly tying. They features a wide range of feathers in each saddle. Whiting’s genetic American feathers were specifically engineered to provide the best salt, fresh, and warm water feather hackle necessary for the rigors of tying and fishing large flies.

Each saddle contains stiff feathers with broad, webby fibers and a drastic taper. These hackles are perfect for salmon/steelhead flies as well as saltwater and streamer patterns. Most feathers will be in the size 8 range, with plenty of 6s and 10s, along with a few 12s.
