Here is his retelling of the day:
That was the only fish I caught that day, on a Batman beadhead. My college roommate and I drove up to Erie from Pittsburgh, spent hours breaking Ice off the surface of the creek, I fell in during the process and filled my waders before the first cast. I wore a pair of McDonald's bags on my feet to keep warm because we came to far to turn back empty handed. We fished the whole day out and the skunk was hanging heavy over both of us. Right after we said "one last drift" for about the 8th time that fish decided to eat. Turned the entire day around. St. Patrick's day 2017.
