McKenzie hooked this nice trout in Colorado just at the end of a long day! Here is what she had to say:
This picture was taken on the Blue River, in Heeley, CO by my partner Jonathan Powell (also a big time Big Y Fly fan). I caught this one on a Caddis pattern nymph, but I cannot remember exactly which one. The river was pretty blown out and fast from all of the snow melt. I spent almost 8 hours on the river and hadn't even gotten a bite. I did not mind though as it was a beautiful day in the gorge!

On our hike back later that evening, I was a bit discouraged but decided to throw a couple casts in before approaching the trailhead. Low and behold I landed this guy! It was the biggest fish of the day between my partner and I and I was pretty happy with that!

I am a huge fan of your flies and they have done me well in my first season of fly fishing out here in Colorado!
