In the unfortunate circumstance that something should happen to your Big Y Fly Co rod or reel rest assured that we are here to help. If a rod or reel has failed due to the workmanship or materials please send it back, once inspected and approved we will repair or replace the item at no charge. Additionally we offer 30 day no questions asked repair or replacement window. Should your product fail within the first 30 days we have you covered. Outside the above mentioned incidents we handle repairs and replacements as follows.
Instances not covered under workmanship or materials require you email us at [email protected] with a picture of the break, indicate the broken section, and how it happened. All sections require a $50 service charge. This is good for all current rods, should the rod be discontinued it must be sent back. If it cannot be repaired it may be replaced with a rod of equal or greater quality at the discretion of Big Y Fly Co. Spare tips can be purchased below.
For all reel issues the reel must be sent back to Big Y Fly Company. Please email us first at [email protected] so we are aware it is on the way. Should it be determined that the reel failed due to workmanship or materials Big Y Fly Co will repair or replace the reel at no charge to the customer. If the damage is caused accidentally or due to misuse we do require a $35 service charge. If we are unable to repair the reel it may be replaced, for reel replacements we require a $50 service charge.
Please note theft, fire, missing sections, and intentional damage are not covered under warranty or repairs. Additionally any customization or modification may disqualify the item for warranty or repair.
