• One of the first American designed dry flies. Named after Theodore Gordon, this pattern imitates one of the first hatches in eastern US, occurring in early spring. (Epeorus pleuralis).
• Popular all over as a prime example of the 'Catskill Style' Dry Fly, spartan and elegant in your fly box, a real delight to watch dance on the surface.
• Particularly effective on cool days, when the flies hesitate on water surface before taking to flight.
