7/23/2007:I was a customer at Percy's Flies for years...then they discontinued their free shipping for any order....They jacked it up to $100.00 for free shipping. I'm sure you should get some customers from they when they find out that your minimum for free shipping is $30.00...reasonable...Tom Waters River Guide

Thanks for getting my order out promptly. I'm looking forward to receiving the flies and putting them to good use. I was able to shake cabin fever yesterday. I traveled to a private spring creek outside Steelville, MO. I was lucky enough to catch 8 rainbows ranging from 19-21 inches and some smaller fish. I caught them on size 14 -18 olive scuds. It was a great day! Thanks again.

12/25/06: Salmon and brown Trout in Ireland Feedback: This email is long overdue. I asked for suggestions for a fly selection for fishing some of the rivers and lakes in the Connemara region of Ireland.You provided the collection and all I can tell you is the Irish Salmon and Trout LOVED your flys! This included fishing loughs Corrib,Mask and Conn and rivers and streams in the area. I've fished the area for many years but this was truly special. If you like solitude,spectacular natural beauty and more water than you could ever fish,this is the place. The odd thing is when the season is over no one heads for the ocean with heavier fly gear. My next question will be what would be appropriate for saltwater! Your flys not only work but they are also things of beauty. Many Thanks, Jim D

10/17/06:I received the salmon,steelhead selection yesterday and I am amazed at the quality,material and tieing! If they fish as good as they look that will be the frosting on the cake. They compare with Orvis flys but at less than half the price. I'll give you a report when we return. I'm going to have to improve my fishing since I can't blame the fly anymore. Many Thanks, Jim

10/25/2005: While fishing in Yellowstone this year (an annual adventure for the big fall run Browns from Hebgen lake), we decided to "think small" for a couple of days and went for quantity rather than "big" fish. We ventured up to the northern part of the park and went hunting for some Brook Trout. We found several streams and small lakes just full of these fish. I was fishing with some of the small nymphs (size 16 Prince if I remember correctly) that I purchased from The Big Y Fly Company and the result was some of the best fishing of the trip! My friends and I had a blast catching these little fish and were laughing for hours! The fall span colors were in full effect and the fish were healthy and beautiful! Just wanted to say thanks to Big Y and the great service and expertly tied flies that I received. The flies arrived just in time for the trip and worked perfectly! Thank you Tim R.
